Oral Surgery

There may be a time when oral surgery is the best solution for your dental care, such as dental implants, or having a tooth repaired or removed. Nothing provokes more fear and discomfort than knowing an oral surgery is necessary, please don’t let this fear prevent you from repairing something that, small or large as it may be, from what can be a painless procedure. Oral surgery may seem somewhat overwhelming and traumatic. Our goal is to eliminate the fear of oral surgery. We want you to feel comfortable throughout the duration of any surgical procedure. We will take the time to discuss your concerns and how you are feeling. In addition, we will provide you with helpful tips for overcoming dental anxieties, which may include simple comforts such as a blanket and neck pillow, or more involved comforts such as conscious sedations. Our board-certified doctors will provide you with the best information to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

At the time of your oral surgery, our doctors will devise an individualized plan specific for your dental needs, which will consist of precaution measures prior to your appointment, the actual procedure, and the healing process.

IV Sedation

Dental procedures can seem somewhat overwhelming and traumatic. We understand, and while our dentists are some of the best in the nation, it does nothing to negate that fact. If you are one of those patients who are white-knuckled about having a procedure done, you can take comfort knowing that we offer I.V. sedation dentistry. When administered an intravenous sedative, it induces you into a state of deep relaxation. While you do remain conscious, you may not have many clear memories of the procedure – including the normal sounds generally associated with a surgical procedure.

Dental Implants

Dental Implants are an option for people who have missing teeth, wear uncomfortable dentures, or are not interested in wearing a bridge. The process for dental implants is a surgical procedure to place posts into the upper or lower jaw in order to provide replacement teeth a sturdy anchor for durable function.
